the staff were super helpful and really accommodating, and the room was cosy with all the stuff we needed for our week long stay. everything was close by which made it really convenient for us. also, there was plenty of car parking which was great! we even had a cinema right across the road. it was awesome and we would definitely come back again!
the shower had a bit of drainage issue and overflowed on the floor, which was not cool. also, it could've used some sprucing up in the bathroom area.

Decent kid's play area for families.
Maintenance issues plagued the hotel, such as broken air conditioners, flickering lights, and inoperative televisions. Bathrooms had leaks, and wait times for repairs were excessive—like an oven during summer without working air conditioning. On top of that, the lack of reception staff over weekends meant long waits to resolve issues, which added to the frustration of an already uncomfortable stay.

The homemade jams at breakfast are a must-try! Plus, the spacious and very nice rooms make for a comfy stay. The hotel bar offers a good varied menu that pairs well with the garden ambiance.

The location is fantastic, really close to shops and restaurants, perfect for grabbing essentials or dining out. Spacious Queen Room with comfortable beds made it easy to relax. Enjoyed the ability to leave our luggage at reception before our room was ready. housekeeping left much to be desired. The shower had signs of neglect, with visible dirt and a lingering odor that made it uncomfortable. It took a bit of effort to request fresh linens after checking in, and the state of the bathroom was concerning. Some maintenance issues—like the need for a clean shower—definitely detracted from the experience.

Comfortable Stay with Potential
Despite some maintenance challenges, our Queen Room was spacious with comfortable beds. Local shops and transport options nearby made our stay very convenient. A highlight was the unexpectedly good food at the bar, perfect for late-night cravings. Bring earplugs for added comfort!

Can't recommend highly enough for a swift stopover
Comfortable room, friendly atmosphere, the location was great with a supermarket and restaurants nearby that made it easy to grab meals and essentials during my two-night stay in the Queen Room Byrneside.
One major issue was the shower, which overflowed onto the bathroom floor due to a drainage problem.

Decent option for a brief sojourn in Brisbane with very good value for money. The food at the pub was great. Bring your own coffee if you're picky, as the in-room supplies weren't great.
